I am supposed to visit the halls, I think the rules state once a day; I make a special visit once a day and oftener if necessary. Q. And see every patient? A. Yes, sir Q. Learn the condition of every patient? A. Yes, sir. I think it is stated in the rules, (and it has been my duty) that I am to put up the medicines. Q. Is that your duty now? A. Yes, sir; that is, to see to them. Q. There has been no one put in the dispensary? A. Yes, a young man has been putting up medicines for a few days past under my directions. Q. He is to remain there? A. I don't know. Q. Are there any other professional visits that you make than the regular one you have spoken of? A. Yes, sir, I am in and out the halls. Q. Do you go round with the visitors some times? A. Yes, sir.
