[Amendments recommended] paying the Council, Senate, & House of Representatives &c &c"-- after the word "and" at A strike out to the word "also" at B and insert "that there be allowed to the Secretary of Senate and to the Clerk of the House of Representatives respectively such further ["sum" struck out] compensation for their services in making up their Journals and arranging their papers, as the Legislature at their next session shall deem just and equitable." Read and accepted.
[Same in Senate.] A transcript of the foregoing report was accepted in the Senate-- June 24 1820 and sent down for concurrence.
