County of York for costs of criminal prosecutions April term 1820. Similar accounts have been examined and allowed by the Executives of Massachusetts in conformity with the Laws of March 8th 1792 and February 20 1808. There can be no doubt of the propriety of the allowance of these accounts, and making provision for their payment up to this time agreeably to the present Laws although there may be, as to the propriety of continuing the system. In Senate June 7 1820 Read and committed to Messrs Moody and Potter to be joined. Sent down for concurrence Read and concurred and Messrs Atherton of Prospect, Wellington of Fairfax and Ruggles of Columbia are joined.

[Report on subject of Senators to represent &c]

The committee appointed to take into consideration the subject of fixing the time, place, and manner of choosing the Senators to represent this State in the Congress of the United States - report the following resolve - to wit

Resolved, [bold] That Tuesday the thirteenth day of June instant at 12 oclock be assigned for the Senators and House of Representatives to proceed to the choice of Senators to represent this State in the Senate of the United States. The House of Representatives shall proceed first on their part and send up the person or persons, by them chosen, for concurrence; and
