The business of the convention being thus accomplished the Senators withdrew.

[Notice to Counsellors] Ordered, That the Secretary of State pro. tem. be directed to notify Isaac Lane Esqr, Mark Harris Esqr, Abiel Wood Esqr, Thomas Fillebrown Esqr, William C. Whitney Esqr, William Emerson Esqr and William Webber Esqr, that they have been chosen Counsellors by joint ballot of the Senators and Representatives in convention agreeably to the Constitution of the State, to advise the Governor in the Executive part of Government for the year ensuing and to request their immediate attendance on the duties of their office.
