[Pay Roll of the Court of Inquiry at Bangor]

Mr Little of Bucksport laid upon the table the Pay Roll of a Division Court Martial held at Bangor for the trial of Adjutant Thomas Treadwell of the 4th Reg. 1st Brig. together with a letter from Joseph Treat Esq. Brigade Major of 1st Brig. 10th Division, which, on motion were referred to the joint committee on accounts. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of the Selectmen of Newry - Read and committed to the committee who have under consideration the petition of the Selectmen of Wilton. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill, " entitled an act to ascertain the estate rateable within this state", being reported by the committee to whom it was referred, with amendments, agreeably to assignment the House proceeded to consider the same - when after considerable debate the third reading of the bill was postponed until 4 oclock P.M.

[Resolve authorizing the Treasurer to borrow 1500 $]

Resolved, That the Treasurer be authorized to borrow on the faith of the State Fifteen Thousand dollars, or any part thereof before the next session of the present Legislature provided it shall be found by him, that the exigency of the State shall require such loan. In Senate June 17 1820 Read and passed. Sent down for concurrence. Read and concurred.
