[Notice to Governor of election of Genl Ripley] Ordered, that the Secretary of State be directed to inform the Governor that the two branches of the Legislature have elected James W Ripley Esqr Major General to command the 13th Division of the Militia of this State. In Senate June 27 1820 Read and passed Sent down for concurrence Read and concurred.

[Leave of absence--] Mr Leach of Raymond had leave of absence.

[Remonstrance of John Phillips & al] Remonstrance of John Phillips and others-- Read and committed to the committee who have under consideration the petition of James C Jewett and others. Sent up for concurrence.

[Report on petition of Jabez Mowry & al] Committee on the petition of Jabez Mowry and others-- report an order of notice. In Senate June 27th 1820. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Read and concurred.

[Report of Conference on Law for support of Poor &c] The Committee of conference appointed on the subject of difference between the two houses on the subject of the Bill entitled "an Act for the further relief and support, employment and removal of the Poor" have considered the principles of the Bill and report that the said Bill be referred to the next session of the present Legislature and in the mean time be published in such Newspapers as shall print the Statute Laws of the State-- Your committee
