Division Orders-- 8. Division, Augusta, Dec. 13. 1802.

A Courtmartial, whereof Lt. Colo. Com'dr. Thomas Fillebrown is appointed president, will convene at Sewall's tavern in Hallowell on Tuesday the 4. day of January next at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, for the trial of Capt. Abiathar Kendall of the 1. regiment, 2. brigade of the Division, & such other officers as my be regularly brought before them. The members will consist of two Majors, five Captains & five subalterns, to be taken from the Infantry, Artillery & Cavalry of the 2. Brigade, in such proportion as B. Gen. Chandler shall direct. A supernumerary Captain & Subaltern will also be notified to be held in readiness to sit on the Court, if needed. Samuel S. Wilde esquire, will please to officiate as Judge Advocate of the Court.
