The end-to-end evaluation method indicated the distance error was 1.61±0.44mm, and the 3D angle error was 1.46±0.46°. A cadaver experiment was also conducted to evaluate the feasibility of the system.

The development of SARS-COV-2 vaccines has recently received much attention from numerous researchers. The present study aims to design an effective multi-epitope vaccine against SARS-COV-2 using the reverse vaccinology method. In this regard, structural proteins from SARS-COV-2, including the spike (S), envelope (E), membrane (M), and nucleocapsid (N) proteins, were selected as target antigens for epitope prediction. A total of five helper T lymphocytes (HTL) and five cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) epitopes were selected after screening the predicted epitopes for antigenicity, allergenicity, and toxicity. Subsequently, the selected HTL and CTL epitopes were fused via flexible linkers. Next, the cholera toxin B-subunit (CTxB) as an adjuvant was linked to the N-terminal of the chimeric structure. The proposed vaccine was analyzed for the properties of physicochemical, antigenicity, and allergenicity. The 3D model of the vaccine construct was predicted and docked with the Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4). The molecular dynamics (MD) simulation was performed to evaluate the stable interactions between the vaccine construct and TLR4. The immune simulation was also conducted to explore the immune responses induced by the vaccine. Finally, in silico cloning of the vaccine construct into the pET-28 (+) vector was conducted. The results obtained from all bioinformatics analysis stages were satisfactory; however, in vitro and in vivo tests are essential to validate these results.Body-Mass-Index (BMI) conveys important information about one's life such as health and socio-economic conditions. Large-scale automatic estimation of BMIs can help predict several societal behaviors such as health, job opportunities, friendships, and popularity. The recent works have either employed hand-crafted geometrical face features or face-level deep convolutional neural network features for face to BMI prediction. The hand-crafted geometrical face feature lack generalizability and face-level deep features don't have detailed local information. Although useful, these methods missed the detailed local information which is essential for exact BMI prediction. In this paper, we propose to use deep features that are pooled from different face regions (eye, nose, eyebrow, lips, etc.) and demonstrate that this explicit pooling from face regions can significantly boost the performance of BMI prediction. To address the problem of accurate and pixel-level face regions localization, we propose to use face semantic segmentation in our framework. Extensive experiments are performed using different Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) backbones including FaceNet and VGG-face on three publicly available datasets VisualBMI, Bollywood and VIP attributes. Experimental results demonstrate that, as compared to the recent works, the proposed Reg-GAP gives a percentage improvement of 22.4% on VIP-attribute, 3.3% on VisualBMI, and 63.09% on the Bollywood dataset.SARS-CoV-2 is a newly discovered virus which causes COVID-19 (coronavirus disease of 2019), initially documented as a human pathogen in 2019 in the city of Wuhan China, has now quickly spread across the globe with an urgency to develop effective treatments for the virus and emerging variants. Therefore, to identify potential therapeutics, an antiviral catalogue of compounds from the CAS registry, a division of the American Chemical Society was evaluated using a pharmacoinformatics approach. A total of 49,431 compounds were initially recovered. After a biological and chemical curation, only 23,575 remained. A machine learning approach was then used to identify potential compounds as inhibitors of SARS-CoV-2 based on a training dataset of molecular descriptors and fingerprints of known reported compounds to have favorable interactions with SARS-CoV-2. This approach identified 178 compounds, however, a molecular docking analysis revealed only 39 compounds with strong binding to active sites. Downstream molecular analysis of four of these compounds revealed various non-covalent interactions along with simultaneous modulation between ligand and protein active site pockets. The pharmacological profiles of these compounds showed potential drug-likeness properties. check details Our work provides a list of candidate anti-viral compounds that may be used as a guide for further investigation and therapeutic development against SARS-CoV-2.Some Coleoptera (popularly referred to as beetles) can fly at a low Reynolds number with their deployable hind wings, which directly enables a low body weight-a good bioinspiration strategy for miniaturization of micro-air vehicles (MAVs). The hind wing is a significant part of the body and has a folding/unfolding mechanism whose unique function benefits from different structures and materials. This review summarizes the actions, factors, and mechanisms of beetle flight and bioinspired MAVs with deployable wings. The elytron controlled by muscles is the protected part for the folded hind wing and influences flight performance. The resilin, the storage material for elasticity, is located in the folding parts. The hind wings' folding/unfolding mechanism and flight performance can be influenced by vein structures of hollow, solid and wrinkled veins, the hemolymph that flows in hollow veins and its hydraulic mechanism, and various mechanical properties of veins. The action of beetle flight includes flapping flight, hovering, gliding, and landing.
