Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has branded Lionel Messi's £94million contract leak as 'completely false' in an angry rant this weekend.
French news outlet L'Equipe 'leaked' the details about the 34-year-old's contract on Saturday, claiming that PSG's latest marquee signing will earn the hefty sum over a three-year contract thereby earning more than Kylian Mbappe and the same amount of money as Neymar.
But Leonardo has reiterated that Messi's PSG contract is just two years, not three and said the details of the contract are 'really very far from the truth'.

'We can't accept this,' said the Brazilian chief this weekend in response to the report.

L'Equipe claimed earlier this weekend that Messi will earn €30m (£25.6m) this season and €40m (£34.1m) over the following two campaigns before his contract expires in 2024, when he will be 37 years old.
The report said Messi is set to earn £94m in wages at PSG over the next three seasons
His salary was said to be similar to what he would have received at Barcelona if he had been able to stay at the club where he made his name. Messi was willing to cut his salary by 50 per cent, which would have seen him earn a net €30m per season at the Catalan giants.
It claimed Messi did not receive any transfer bonus when he made the move to PSG, though it's reported he will receive a loyalty bonus that would equate to €15m (£12.8m) per year.
Since completing his move to the Ligue 1 side, he has also linked up with cryptocurrency website Crypto.com, which will see him earn an additional sum of up to €30m over the duration of his contract.
Part of Messi's salary will be paid by cryptocurrency fan tokens, which are a type of payment that allow holders to vote on mostly minor decisions related to their clubs.

Messi has played just two games for PSG since completing his high-profile move - a substitute appearance at Stade de Reims on August 29 before making his first start in their Champions League draw at Club Bruges.

The 34-year-old has been limited to a couple of PSG appearances due to international commitments.
Messi had no pre-season at Barcelona due to the Copa America so started the French top-flight season late, while he missed the club's 4-0 win over Clermont Foot due to coming back late from the September international break.
He will be looking for his first PSG goal in the club's derby match with Lyon on Sunday evening at the Parc des Princes.
