[new members] [John Jones] [allowed to file certificate of a future parish] Ordered, thank John Jones of Westbrook be allowed to take his seat in this House as Representative from said town chosen to fill the vacancy occasioned by the resignation of Silas Estes Esq since the last session, with the privilege of exhibiting here after the evidence of his election.

Mr. Vose returned and informed the House that Mr. Jones had been duly qualified before the Governor to take a seat in this House.
[Report of Committee to inform Gov. that a quorum has assembled.] Commodore Tucker reports to this House that the joint Committee appointed for the purpose have waited on the Governor and informed him that a quorum of the two Houses are assembled and ready to receive any communication that he may be pleased to make to them - and that the Governor will send a message to this House tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock.
