On motion of Mr Cobb Ordered, that the Senate be requested to take from their files and send to this House the Bill entitled " an additional act directing the method of laying out, making, and providing for the repair of Highways" rejected in the Senate at the last session read & passed.

[Bill - salary of Chief Justice of C.C.P.]

Bill encreasing the salary of the present Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas - was taken up & referred to Messrs Parker of Gardiner, adams of Portland & Crowell of Whitefield.
