Report on petition of the inhabitants of the town Warren for a revision of the pauper law - was read & accepted.

[Bill - relating to Paupers]

Bill in addition to an act ascertaining what shall constitute the legal settlement, & providing for the relief and support, employment & removal of the poor - was read 1st & 2d time & Tuesday next assigned for the 3d reading - & 200 copies ordered to be printed.

[Bill South Berwick Bank]

Bill, to incorporate the South Berwick Bank, was reported with amendment which were adopted, read a 2nd time & Tuesday next at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

[Committee - Location Court in County of York-]

On motion of Mr Wallingford. Ordered that Messrs Wallingford, Clark and Hammond be a committee to consider the expediency of ascertaining the sense of the people of the County of York on the question of the location of the Courts in that County, with leave to report by Resolve or otherwise. Read and passed.
