Mr Isaac Bearce of Meddybemps is an applicant for the Indian agent. I have no hesitation in recommending him for that office.
I think the interest of the Replicken party in this county requires that their should be a new appointment made this winter. Mr. Bearce is a very active man and a man that can be relied upon in any emergency. Hoping that his case may be considered favourable by you
