Message from the Senate by Mr Sewall their Secretary Mr Speaker [Convention proposed] The Senate propose a convention of both Houses in the Representatives Chamber at 11 o'clock this day for the purpose of qualifying Thomas Vose Esquire Counsellor elect — and then withdrew.

agreed to — The House concurred and the Clerk was requested to acquaint the Senate therewith.

[Committee on place of next meeting of the Legislature] Messrs Nowell of Kennebunk Port, Morrill of Wells, Lewis of Gorham, Cobb of Durham, Thatcher of Warren, Dennet of Bowdoin, Sprague of Hallowell, Williams of Augusta, Pond of Bucksport, Virgin of Rumford, Downes of Calais, Goodwin of Brewer and Flint of New Vineyard were appointed the committee under the order of Friday to ascertain at what place it will be expedient for the next Legislature to meet &c &c

[Bill - additional forcible entry & detainer] Bill in addition to an act directing the proceedings against forcible entry and detainer "was read a third time and referred to Messrs Thatcher of Warren, Sprague of Hallowell and Virgin of Rumford.

[Counsellors acceptance Tho' Vose Esq] A communication was received from Thomas Vose Esquire signifying his acceptance of the office of Counsellor.
