Bill "to apportion and assess a tax on this State of $50,000" came back from the Senate with certain amendments in which the House concur and pass the Bill to be engrossed with a further amendment at H. Sent up for concurrence.

[Resolve - paying commissioners under act of separation]

Resolve allowing compensation to the Commissioners under the act of separation to divide the public property held in common by Mass. & Maine. In Senate March 17th 1821. Passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. Read once and committed to Messrs Holland, Redington & Miller of St George.
