[Governors Message] [vacancy of Major Genl. in 6th Division] To the Senate & House of Representatives, The Adjutant General having reported the resignation of Major general Ripley of the sixth Division, and the same having been accepted I now make known to the two branches of the Legislature that the office of Major General of the 6th Division in the militia of this State is vacant. Albion K Parris Countil Chamber Jany 30th 1822. The foregoing message was read in Senate and sent down — It was also read in the House.
