Ferrall of Mount Dessert in the County of Hancock yoeman aged sixty eight do hereby testify and say that, on or about the month of May 177.5. inlisted into the Revolutionary war for eight months: In Capt Stephen [?]wads Company, Col Woodbridge's Regt,,Putmans Brigade: joined my Regt.. at Cambridge (large cross out) marched )West crossed out )to Canada, in Capt.. Thayers Company, was in the ..ction of Qucbec: I now inlisted again in Catp.. Forsburys Company/ of Albany/for nine months: (above the astrick is written) I was at the capture of [ ?] after the astrick in line with nine months. I served this time (letters missing) and I was regarlarly discharged in Albany: I then { letter missing] nlisted again for one year, in Capt.. Willim.. Albeys Company [?]... At this Regt.. Joined my Regt.. at Machias: At which (word covered up) I continued till my term of inlistment was out when I recieved a discharge: which is herewith inclosed.- I am now under reduced circumstances, and need the assistance of my Country for support.
