Committee on petition of Committee of St Pauls Church - report leave to bring in a Bill - In Senate Jany 31 1821. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Read and concurred

[Bill - assesst. of taxes -]

Bill entitled "An Act concerning the assessment and collection of taxes" In Senate Jany 30 1821 Passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence Read a first and second time and Monday next assigned for a third reading and committed to Messrs Smith of Wiscasset, Francis of Leeds & Nourse of Orrington.

[valuation committee - compensation to -]

Committee appointed on the part of the House to confer with a committee of the Senate upon the Resolve providing for the compensation of the valuation Committee report that they met the Committee of the Senate and agreed with them to recommend to this House an allowance of three dollars per day to each member of the valuation Committee and one half of the customary travel and an additional sum of fifty cents to Daniel Rose as Clerk to said Committee - which report was read & accepted.
