Sent down for concurrence Read a first and second time and Monday next assigned for a third reading and committed to Messrs Smith of Wiscasset, Francis of Leeds & Nourse of Orrington.

[valuation committee - compensation to -]

Committee appointed on the part of the House to confer with a committee of the Senate upon the Resolve providing for the compensation of the valuation Committee report that they met the Committee of the Senate and agreed with them to recommend to this House an allowance of three dollars per day to each member of the valuation Committee and one half of the customary travel and an additional sum of fifty cents to Daniel Rose as Clerk to said Committee - which report was read & accepted.
