pay to James L Child, Clerk of the House of Representatives as a compensation for his services in filing the papers and making up the Journals of the present session. Read and passed.

[Resolve - in favor of Josiah Dunn & Israel Waterhouse &c]

Resolve granting a sum of money to Josiah Dunn junior and Israel Waterhouse in full for travelling from Portland to obtain a Copy of the Census of Maine for the Legislature. In Senate March 20th 1821. Passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence. Read and passed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve fixing the Representation on the several Counties on the first appointment [apportionment], came back from the Senate amended in which amendments the House now nonconcur & adhere to their former vote.
