[Petitions committed to Committee on Incorporation of Towns] The following petitions read and committed in the House to the joint standing Committee on Incorporation of Towns came up for concurrence – to wit.
Petition of Benjamin Mantor and others of Anson, praying that the West part of said town be set off and annexed to the town of Industry –
Petition of the Town of Concord for restricting the boundaries of said town – also
Remonstrance of the Inhabitants of New Sharon against petitions for new County, by severance of Oxford etc. – also Memorial of the town of Machias against making Eastport a half shire town – also
Petition of Charles Pierce and others praying that part of plantation No. 2 which was erroneously taken into Concord be restored to said Plantation –
and they were severally read and committed to the same committee in concurrence with the House.
