[1823 January 4] praying that a law may be passed authorizing said town to be open and keep a passage open for salmon. [Remonstrances of James Beveridge & als] and also the remonstrances of James Beveridge of Vinalhaven against the petition of committee of said town - and they were severally read and committed to the same Committee in concurrence with the House.

[Message House] A message was sent to the House proposing a convention of the two Houses this day at 12 oclock for the purpose of qualifying those Counsellors who had signified their acceptance of the office.

A message from the House by Mr. Child their clerk [ Message from House] "Mr. President The house of Representatives concur with the Senate in their proposition for a convention of the two Houses for the purpose of qualifying those Counsellors who have signified their acceptance of the office."
