[Message from House] A message was received from the House of Representatives by their Clerk - that they had amended the engrossed Bill entitled An Act to authorize the sale of school lands in the town of Guilford by inserting in section 5 at A the words "double[underscored]" instead instead of "full[underscored]" - and requested the concurrence of the Senate which amendments being agreed to by the Senate, the Secretary was directed to inform the House thereof.

[Message from House] A message was received from the House that they had amended the engrossed bill entitled "An Act in addition to an Act regulating elections" - by striking out the word "negligently[underscored]" and inserting the word unnecessarily - and that they requested the concurrence of the Senate - which amendments being agreed to by the Senate, the Secretary was directed to inform the House thereof.

[Report of Committee on petition of Bangor School] Mr. Seaver from the Committee on so much of the Governor's message as relates to the support and encouragement of the Literary Institutions at Brunswick and Waterville - reported on the petition of the Trustees of the Maine Charity School - that they have leave to withdraw their petition. Report read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence - came up concurred.

[Report of com. on pet. of Jn. Jellison &al.] Mr. Bond from the Committee on New Trials reported on the petition of John Jellison and others - that they have leave to withdraw their petition. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

[Report on pet. of Northport] Mr. Bradbury from the Committee on accounts reported that The town of Northport have leave to withdraw their petition. Report read and accepted and sent down for concurrence - came up concurred.
