Friday January 25, 1822. [centered] [Order to Committee on accounts] Order of the House that no accounts against the State be received by the Committee on accounts after Wednesday next, came up for concurrence - read and concurred.

[Resolves] Resolve fixing the compensation of the members of the Legislature passed to be engrossed in the House, came up for concurrence - read and committed to the Committee on bills in the second reading - and tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for second reading. The following resolves passed to be engrossed to wit Resolve in favour of James L. Child - having been read a second time as amended. Sent down for concurrence. Resolve directing the promulgation and distribution of the Laws as amended by the House. Resolve in favour of Timothy Osgood - sent down for concurrence. Resolve extending the time for [extending the time for-stricken] making certain roads through the public lands - as reported by the Committee on that subject. Sent down for concurrence. Resolve in amendment of and in addition to a Resolve apportioning the Representatives on the several counties, town etc. on the first apportionment - in concurrence with the House.

[Bill C. Pleas] Bill to establish a Court of Common Pleas for the State was read a second time and the further consideration thereof postponed until tomorrow at ten o'clock.

[Bills] Bill regarding the right of roads was read as passed to be engrossed in the House - and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading - and committed to the Committee on Bills in the second reading. Bill to alter the time of holding the Courts of Sessions in the county of Somerset read and tomorrow at nine o'clock assigned for a second reading and committed to Messrs. Tuttle and Burnham.
