Dexter May 20, 1861 Gov. Washburne Dear Sir, I wish to know if our Company of Soldiers enlisted in Dexter cannot go in the next Regiment from Bangor. Gen Butler informed me where the Company was organized that they would probably leave Dexter in in [sic] the course of a week or ten days.
