Committee to whom was referred the petition of Edward E Bourne and others praying to be incorporated as a literary and moral Society - report leave to bring in a Bill. Read and Accepted.

[Bill - mooring of vessels in Portland harbour -]

Bill "regulating the mooring of Vessels in the harbour of Portland" was reported as taken into a new draft and on motion of Mr Sturdivant indefinitely postponed

[Bill - forms of writs -]

Bill "prescribing the forms of Writs and other processes in the cases therein mentioned" Read a first, second and third time and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Bill - Wiscasset Bank]

Bill "restricting the Wiscasset Bank in negotiating business as a Banking Corporation and providing for the collection of their debts & other purposes." Read a third time and passed to be engrossed. in concurrence with the Senate.
