36 [1825 January 10] [Petitions referred] On motion of Mr. Dunlap, Ordered that the Petition of John Gray Jr. and others, be taken from the files and laid on the table; which was referred to the Committee on Incorporation of Towns. Sent down for concurrence and came up concurred.

Petition of Jonathan Nelson of Palermo for relief in consequence of a wound received by him at a Military training, was read and referred to the Committee on Appliation from sick and wounded soldiers. Sent down for concurrence and came up concurred.

[Communication from Counsellor] A communication was received from Chas Stowell Esq. a Councillor elect, signifying his acceptance of that trust and readiness to be qualified. Read and sent down.

[Petitions referred] The following Petitions referred in the House to the Committee on the Militia and Military Affairs, came up for concurrence, viz: Petition of Col. Charles Morse and others for a revision of the Militia Laws. Petition of Leonard Blanchard & others for a revision of the Militia Laws. Petition of Ezra Treat & others for a revision of the Militia Laws. Petition of Officers 2d Reg. 1 Brig. 7th Div. for a revision of the Militia Laws. Petition of Officers 1 Reg. 2 Brig 2 Div. for a revision of the Militia Laws. and they were severally read and concurred.
