State of Maine.

To all persons to whom these presents shall come,

Greeting:

Whereas, before our Court of Common Pleas, begun and holden at West Machias, within and for our County of Washington, on the first Tuesday of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six, Warren Knight, of Steuben, in our said County of Washington, minor, was convicted of the Crime of Larceny; but has not as yet received the sentence of our said Court; and he the said Warren Knight has humbly supplicated Us for mercy:

Now Know Ye, That, upon full consideration of the premises, We do hereby grant to him the said Warren Knight, a full and free Pardon of the Crime aforesaid; of which all our Judges, Justices, Magistrates, and Officers of every denomination are to take notice.

Witness, Enoch Lincoln, our Governor, with the advice and consent of our Council, and our Seal hereunto affixed, at Portland, the first day of March, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven; and in the fifty first year of the Independence of the United States of America.
