[Bill - S.J. Court to layout Highways]

The committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed, Bill, authorizing the Supreme Judicial Court to layout { or alter public highways in certain cases, which on motion was amended at A in 2d Sec. by inserting the words, " may be taken from either or all the counties thro' which such road or contemplated road shall pass and.", and the Clerk was requested to acquaint the Senate therewith & request their concurrence.

The same committee reported as duly engrossed, Resolve, in favor of the Passamaquoddy Indians, - respecting the purchase of a standard of weights & measures - authorizing the sale of a Gun House &c &c - which finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve in favor of the Treasurer of State and Adjutant General which came from the Senate 21st ult. was taken into a new draft, read twice & passed to be engrossed - Sent up for concurrence.
