[Petition of Simeon Waters & als] Petition of Simeon Waters and others of Livermore for the abolition of the Courts of Sessions, committed in the House to Messrs. Jos. Adams, Neally and Parker with such as the Senate may join, came up for concurrence, was read, concurred and Messrs. Dunlap and Whitney were joined.

[Petitions referred] The following Petitions committed in the House to the Committee on Towns, came up for concurrence, viz: Petition of Selectmen of Hiram that said town may be annexed to the County of Cumberland; Petition of Buxton to annex said town to the County of Cumberland; Petition of Elias Stowell and others, that the line between Cumberland and Oxford may be straightened and defined; and [Remonstrance] Remonstrance against Petition of John Plummer and others of Harrington to be annexed to Addison, and they were severally read and referred to the same Committee in concurrence with the House.

[Petitions referred] Petition of Edward How and others to be incorporated by the name of the Beethoven Society in Portland, committed in the House to the Committee o Parishes &c. came up for concurrence, was read and concurred.

Petition of Wm. H. Ruggles, Administrator of Thomas Ruggles, for authority to execute deeds of certain lands, committed in the House to the Committee on New Trials, came up for concurrence, was read
