131 [1823 January 20] The following petitions committed in the House to the Joint Standing Committee on New Trials, came up for concurrence, viz. [Petitions read & Committed] Petition of Robinson Palmer & others relating to the Passamaquoddy Indians; Do. of William Norwood of Perry relating to the Passamaquoddy Indians; Do. of Joseph Bailey, guardian to James Jewett deceased, for leave to sell lands belonging to his ward; and Do. of Cyrus Rice for a new trial: and they were severally read and concurred.

[Bill to incorporate Orient Lodge] Bill to incorporate the Master, Wardens and Members of the Orient Lodge was read twice and passed to be engrossed: sent down for concurrence,

[Pet. R. Jordan & als] Petition of Rishworth Jordan & others for a Bridge across Fore River, was read & referred to the Joint Standing Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals and sent down for concurrence: came up concurred.

[Bill making further provisions in the Judicial department] Bill making further provisions in the Judicial department, which had been passed to be engrossed & sent down for concurrence, came up with an amendment; committed to Messrs Green & O'Brien.
