[Message from Governor -]
[pay of Commissioners under the act of Separation -]
Message from the Governor.
To the Senate and House of Representatives The Secretary will lay before you a communication from the Commissioners who have been employed under the Act of Separation on the part of this State. I suggest for your consideration the propriety of making provision for meeting the expense of this commission at this time as the charge is to the general account of Massachusetts and Maine. Should the arrangement be ratified by Massts, it is desirable, that the expense of the Commission should be adjusted here, in order that it should be closed at the proper time, with the other important subjects between the two States. Council Chamber March 15 1821 } William King. In Senate March 15th 1821. Read and sent down. Read and sent up.
