Ordered that Messrs Boutelle of Waterville, Longfellow of Portland and Bourne of Kennebunk be a Committee to report a code of regulations for the government of the House during the present Legislature. read and passed.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing that all messages between the two Houses be communicated by the Secretary of the Senate and Clerk of the House of Representatives respectively, and that all papers be transmitted by them or their Assistants respectively – and the House concurred.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence appointing Messrs Stebbins, Churchill and Scamman, with such as the House may join a committee to examine the returns[?] of votes for Governor, from the several towns and plantations in this State – and the House concurred and Messrs Clark of Hallowell, Kavanagh of Newcastle and Bent of Bangor were joined.

Ordered that the House stand adjourned until ten o clock tomorrow morning.
