Bill extending the jurisdiction of the Municipal Court for the town of Portland and of Justices of the Peace, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a 3d reading
Resolve respecting the survey of the Indian townships, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
Bill – to incorporate the town of Plymouth, came from the Senate amended for concurrence – and the House concurred.
Mr Howard of Augusta was appointed on the committee to whom was referred the Bill additional to the act authorizing a Lottery for the benefit of the Cumberland & Oxford Canal instead of Mr Scamman of Pittston who has returned home.

The committee on the subject of reporting a suitable place for the meeting of the next Legislature reported a Resolve - & the report was accepted.
Resolve – designating the place where the next Legislature shall meet was read, and tomorrow at ten o clock assigned for a consideration of the subject.

Petitions of Ralph C Johnson & others for a Lottery with a view to make a free Bridge in Belfast - - also
