House so far reconsidered their former votes on this Resolve as to concur the Senate in referring the same to the next Legislature.

The House reconsidered their vote of 25th inst. refusing the pass to be engrossed Bill granting a Lottery to encourage Steam Navigation in this State – and now passed the Bill to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate 59 pro. 29 con.

Bill – granting a Lottery for the benefit of the Thomaston Coal and Mineral Company, was called up & the vote passing the same to be engrossed reconsidered, and the Bill amended as on sheet annexed marked K. and then the Bill was passed to be engrossed as thus amended. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill granting a Lottery for the benefit of Canton point Bridge was read once and refused a second reading.

Bill to incorporate the Kennebunk Canal Company, was read 1st & 2nd time & on motion referred to the consideration of the next Legislature.

Mr Stone of Jay moved a reconsideration of the vote whereby the House refused a second reading to the Bill granting a Lottery for the benefit of Canton point Bridge and the House assigned Friday next at 3 o clock P M to consider the motion.

Mr Baker of Mercer has leave of absence after Wednesday next.

Bill – altering the places of holding Courts of Common Pleas in Lincoln County, was read a 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a 3d reading.
