Report on the petition of William R Ware, referring the same to the next legislature, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence, & the House concurred.

Report on the memorial of Rembrandt Peale offering his services to the State to paint the portrait of Washington, that the funds of the State at the present time will not admit of an appropriation for this important object, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence & the House concurred.

Resolve making an appropriation for the purchase of certain articles for the use of the Militia, was read a 1 & 2nd time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill – to establish the Portland Athenaeum, was read a 1st & 2nd time & this afternoon at 3’ o clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill – to incorporate the President, Directors & Company of the Livermore Bank, reported with sundry amendments which were adopted, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill – to incorporate the President, Directors & Company of the North Yarmouth Bank, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill – to incorporate the York County Bank, was read a third time & passed to b e engrossed as amended on sheet marked P. annexed thereto. Sent up for concurrence.
