Afternoon. [Resolve authorizing town of Sullivan to abate taxes] Resolve authorizing the Town of Sullivan to abate the taxes on Sullivan Bridge, passed to be engrossed in the House, came up for concurrence; was read and concurred.
[Bill to divide the town of N. Yarmouth committee of conference on] Bill additional to an act to divide the Town of North Yarmouth &c. came up and the House insist upon their vote by which they referred the Bill to the next Legislature; and the Senate insist upon their vote of nonconcurrence in the reference: and On motion of Mr. Usher ordered that Messrs Witham and Usher be a Committee to confer with a Committee on the part of the House upon the subject of the difference of the two Houses upon said Bill; and that a message be sent to the House informing them of the same.
The Senate then adjourned to nine o'clock tomorrow morning.
