On motion of Mr. McDonald, Ordered that Messrs McDonald and Miller, with such as the House may join be a committee to enquire what alteration ought to be made in an act fixing the compensation of the members of the Council, Senate and House of Representatives, to report by Bill or otherwise: sent down for concurrence : concurred, and Messrs Adams, Russell and Williams were joined.-
