Resolve providing for the publication of notices required to be inserted in newspaper of the printer to the State, which was read and indefinitely postponed : sent down for concurrence : concurred.-

The Senate reconsider their accepting the report of the Committee on petition of Daniel Lovejoy, and als. and concur with the House in giving the petitioners leave to bring in a Bill.-

[Bills]

Bill to change the name of Ligonia was read twice and passed to be engrossed : sent down for concurrence : concurred.-

Bill providing for the appointment of agents to give deeds to owners and possessors of lands on the Island of Matinicus, was read a 2d time and refused passage.-

Bill to promote the sale and settlement of public lands, was again read and passed to be engrossed with amendments; sent down for concurrence : (concurred Feb. 23d)

Bill additional to an act to establish a Court of Sessions, came up, and the House nonconcur the Senate in the postponement, and adhere to their vote passing the same to be engrossed : and the Senate adhere to their vote by which they postponed the Bill indefinitely.-
