Bill to incorporate the Trustees of the Maine Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

A message was received from the Senate by Mr Hutchinson their Secretary, informing the House that the Senate had nonconcurred the House in their election of Albion K Parris a Senator from this State to the Congress of the United States, and had on their part elected John Holmes, and requesting the concurrence of the House in his election.

The committee on contested elections to whom was recommitted their report on the Memorial of the Selectmen of Lebec made a further report, which was accepted.

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Bill to set off Isaiah Jenkins & others from Litchfield to Wales, which was passed to be Enacted. Sent for concurrence.

The same Committee reported as duly engrossed, Resolve providing for the survey and establishment of the line between Maine and New Hampshire in favor of Thurston Card were severally finally passed, Sent up for concurrence.

Ordered that Friday next at 10 o'clock be assigned for the House to take a second ballot for a Senator from this State in the Congress of the United States. Report on the petition of Selectmen of Lisbon, granting an order of notice came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.
