Mr. Bond from the committee on New Trials, to whom was referred the following petitions. Viz. -

Petition of John Broadstreet for divorcement, Do. of Lucy Moody for divorcement, Do. of James Lord & others for aid in supporting Presumpscot Bridge, Do. of John Wells for a new trial. Do. of John Burgin & others for a law requiring the Court of Sessions in the County of Washington to apply certain money towards building a Jail, Do. of John H. Beckett that his doings as a Justice of the Peace may be made valid. - Do. of Daniel Swett for divorcement, Do. of Gersham Flagg & others for an alteration of the law providing for the relief of the poor. Reported that they severally have leave to withdraw their petitions. - Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence. - Came up concurred.-
