Petition of Abraham Dow for leave to change his name, was read & referred to the committee on change of names.

Petition of Noah Chandler & als of Wayne to be annexed to Winthrop was read & referred to the committee on incorporation of Parishes ect. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve in favor of Oliver Perkins, came again from the Senate that body insisting upon their vote passing the same to be engrossed - The House voted to insist upon their vote amending said Resolve and appointing Messrs Amen of Bath, Vance of Baring & Goodenow of Alfred Conferees on the part of the House

Bill to incorporate the Handel Musical Society of Fayette, was read 1st & 2nd time & Monday at 10 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading

The House reconsidered their vote requiring that all petitions of a private nature should be presented within the twentieth day of the present session.

Petition of Asa Cole & als report thereon, taken from the last years files of the Senate, came from the Senate referred to the committee on incorporation of towns for concurrence - and the House concurred

Bill to incorporate an Engine Company in Winthrop, reported by the committee on the petition of Thomas Newman & als, was read 1st & 2nd time & Monday next at 10 oclock was assigned a 3rd reading.

Resolve in favor of Tomah Loui, came from the Senate, that body adhering to their vote refusing the same a passage, The House adhere to their vote passing the same to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Bath Public Library reported with amendment which were adopted, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
