A message was received from the House informing that they had voted to adjourn to 7 oclock this evening; when, on motion

voted that when the Senate adjourn, they will adjourn to 7 o clock this evening, and a message was sent to the House informing them of the same.

The Committee on engrossed Bills reported the following to be truly copied, viz.

Bill in addition to an Act to establish the Cumberland and Oxford Canal Corpration”,

Bill in addition to an Act to prevent and punish Trespasses,”

Bill to prevent the destruction of shoals or beds of Lobsters about the Bay at the mouth of Saco River,”

Bill to incorporate the Maine Bank”,

Bill to prevent frauds in the business of Banks, and of public offices and trusts,”

Bill providing for the distribution of copies of the Constitution of this State, and of the United States, to be used in schools,”

Bill authorizing the town of Bangor to purchase the Bridge over the Kenduskeag stream in said town,” and

Bill authorizing the town of Portland to asses [assess] a tax on the owners of Dogs,”

And they were passed to be enacted.
