Senate January 18th 1823. -

[Bill establishing ministerial fund in Temple]

Bill establishing a ministerial fund in the town of Temple was read twice & passed to be engrossed; sent down for concurrence.

[Resolve making valid doing of town of Jay]

Resolve making valid the doings of the town of Jay was committed to Messrs Bond & McDonald. -

[Order respecting pay to the Committee on Seat Government]

On motion of Mr. Green, Ordered that the committee on accounts be instructed to take into consideration what compensation shall be allowed to the committee appointed by the Governor and Council, agreeably to a Resolve of the last session, to collect information and investigate the subject of the punishment of convicts, and the establishment of a States Prison or Penitentiary; and also the subject of the location of the seat of Government: Sent down for concurrence: came up concurred. -

[Bill to incorporate the Kennebunk Manf. Company & Bill for relief of School Districts in Freeman & Phillips]

Bill to incorporate the Kennebunk Manufacturing company; and Bill for the relief of School districts in the towns of Freeman & Phillips, were severally read a second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the House. -
