To the Senate and House of Representatives:

I have this morning received from the Executive of Massachusetts a communication covering sundry Resolves passed by the Legislature of that State, relative to the depredations which have been committed by Brittish [British] subjects upon the timber on land owned jointly by the tw States, which I lay before the two branches of the Legislature for their information. It is peculiarly gratifying that the measures adopted by the Legislature of this State, have been co cordially concurred in by the Legislature of Massachusetts.
