[Report on Petitions]

Mr. Buxton from the committee, on the petition of John H. Sheppard & Warren Rice of Wiscasset, reported that the petitioners have leave to withdraw their petition, read, accepted & sent down for concurrence: came up nonconcurred. -

Mr. Buxton from the same committee, on the petition of Warren Preston for the incorporation of Somerset Lodge, reported that he have leave to bring in a Bill: read, accepted, & sent down for concurrence: came up concurred. -

Mr. Bond from the committee, on the petition of the Selectmen of Cornish, that their doings may be made valid, reported that the petitioners cause an attested copy of their petition with the order thereon to be printed in the Eastern Argus three weeks successively, the last publication to be thirty days at least before the first wednesday of the first session of the next Legislature: Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence: came up concurred. -
