To the Governor & Council of the State of Maine The subscribers selectmen of the town of Strong in the County of Somerset, humbly represent, that in our opinion now, Richard Sawtelle Esquire Sheriff of said County, has discharged the duties of his office as Sheriff, faith-fully and impartially- We believe it would be for the interest of the County, that Mr. Sawtelle should be continued in office, and we believe his reappointment would meet the [appreciation] and wishes of the inhabitants of the County generally Nathan Aimsby John Newelle James Mayhew
