Bill fixing the place of the permanent seat of Government and prescribing where the Legislature shall hold its sessions, was laid upon the table by Mr Vance of Baring on leave of the House obtained for that purpose. Mr Evans moved a reference of the subject to the next Legislature, and before the questions was taken the House adjourned until 1/2 past two this afternoon

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing that the Committee on the Pay Roll of the House of Representatives and the Secretary of the Senate be directed to make up the Pay Rolls of their respective Houses including Sunday next and the House concurred.
