Report, relating to Resolution of the Legislature of Georgia]
Mr. Washburn from the Committee on Literature &c to whom was referred the message of the Governor of January 18th and the accompanying Resolution of the Legislature of Georgia on the subject of amending the Constitution of the United States in its provisions for the choice of President, reported that, as no definite proposition is submitted, it is inexpedient to take any further order on the subject. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred

Order of the House of Representatives that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to report forms conformable to “an Act additional to an Act for the relief of poor debtors” passed February 25th 1824, in such manner as shall be necessary for carrying the aforesaid Act into effect, with leave to report by bill or otherwise was read and passed in concurrence.
