Mr. Washburn from the Conferees on the part of the Senate, upon the disagreement of the two Houses respecting the “Resolve in favor of Tomah Loui,” reported that they had met the conferees on the part of the House, and after a consultation, had heard no arguments to induce them to recommend a concurrence with the House – They recommend a reference of the Resolve to the next Legislature, and that notice be given to the Indian Agent and he be requested to file in the office of the Secretary of State on or before the first day of January next a statement of facts relating to the subject matter of said Resolve.
