February 4th came back amended for concurrence - and the House concurred.

[Bill - town meetings]

Bill, An Act in addition to an act, entitled an act regulating towns, town meetings & the choice of town officers passed March 19th 1821, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Rep - Speedy method of collecting debts]

The Committee to enquire as to the expediency of providing a speedy method of collecting debts without imprisonment reported a Bill - report accepted.

[Bill - respecting arrests in civil process.]

Bill respecting arrests in civil process - was read 1st & 2d time & referred to the next Legislature and a copy thereof ordered to be printed under the direction of the Clerk, in all the Portland Newspapers.

[Bills - enacted]

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Bill, to set off Nathaniel Larrabee from Danville to Durham - to change the names of sundry persons - additional to an act to establish the Court of Common Pleas - which passed to be enacted - Sent up for concurrence.

[Resolve - do]

The same committee reported as duly engrossed, Resolve, requesting the opinion of the Commissioners under the act of Separation as to the best mode of managing the public lands - which was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Rep. Eben C Wilder]

Report on the petition of Ebenezer C Wilder, a land agent granting a reference to the next Legislature, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.
